Mining rescue service is an integral part of mining activity. Its position as the tasks are determined by the Mining Act, Decree of the Czech Mining Office of Mine Rescue Service and Staff Regulations approved by the Czech Mining Authority . The task of mine rescue work is performed a quick and effective interventions to :
- Saving lives and property during emergencies , including underground first aid
- Contol of accidents
- Elimination of accident consequences
In addition to these tasks, rescue service :
- Performs other activities in the stifling or deleterious environment and other special and hazardous work , such as in the height above free space or under water
- Collaborates with organizations in emergency prevention and ensuring health and safety at work and road safety in particular by carrying out random searches of their workplaces and control of funds for emergencies and accidents , as appropriate, training and education of employees
- Perform the duties and obligations incumbent upon it also of special legislation
Products and services
Main tasks HBZS :
- Ensuring consistent emergency mine rescue and necessary technology
- Provides underground medical first aid
- Provides training and practical training in mine rescue
- Fixes , checked and tested self-rescue , breathing apparatus , resuscitation equipment and rescue equipment
- Methodically manages and controls the ZBZS
- Control equipment and devices used emergency prevention and emergency plans
- Schools and tested employees for the supply, maintenance and repair detection and indicating instruments for control of the constituents of mine air and gas analyst laboratories
- Delivers or provides calibration gases and checks gas laboratories
Other activities carried out :
- Repairs, inspections, filling and pressure testing of fire extinguishers
- Operation and maintenance of mining lamps
- Blasting metal products
- Tearing plain concrete , reinforced concrete, glass without the use of blasting using hydraulic equipment
- Measurement of heat leakage by thermal imaging camera
- Servicing and pressure testing of cylinders
- Chromatographic analysis of air
- Photos and videos
- Technical advice and consultancy
